"Art with Amy"

Twice the Fun is proud to offer "Art with Amy".  Lessons for children and workshops for adults.  Amy Dovan Gordon is a Dover resident and has taught art for the past 10 years both privately and publicy in NH and Massachusetts.  She graduated in 2000 from The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth with a degree in Art Education.  Her work has been featured throughout the Seacoast, including her latest collection entitled "Olive You".  Twice the Fun is excited to host such a wonderful opportunity for children and adults of all ages!

Lessons for Children

           Mondays

4:15pm-6pm: 4 years thru 6 years

          $58 for all 4 Mondays includes 45 minute art lesson and 1 hour of playtime

            Wednesdays

8:45am-10:15am:  Infants/Toddlers thru 3 years (Mommy/Daddy and Me class)

          $52 for all 4 Wednesdays includes 30 minute art exploration and 1 hour of playtime


2pm-3:45pm: 4 years thru 6 years

          $58 for all 4 Wednesdays includes 45 minute art lesson and 1 hour of playtime

3:45pm-5:30pm:  7 years +

          $62 for all 4 Wednesdays includes 45 minute art lesson and 1 hour of playtime

             Friday

10:15am-12pm: Children with Special Needs

          $58 for all 4 Fridays includes 45 minute art exploration and 1 hour of playtime

Workshops for Adults

Wednesday, October 20th 6-8:30pm    
"Reaching All Students Through Visual Arts"
Fee: $65

This dynamic and interactive workshop is sure to open your eyes to the possibilities of creating art projects to motivate, inspire and ultimately reach your students.  Amy Gordon has taught art at all levels including Advanced Placement and Studio Art classes in high schools, community based programs for young children, special needs classrooms and at the Monarch School of New England where she used a multi-sensory approach to help students create art despite significant physical and cognitive disabilities.

This workshop will feature techniques for reaching challenging students and helping them express their creativity.  Modifications for special education students, those with physical and/or learning disabilities will also be explored and discussed.  This is an active workshop and it is highly recommended that attendees wear clothing appropriate for doing art projects.
